Pollution: Pollution is a harmful change in environment. You know that things around us such as water,air and land make our environment. Pollution affects the living and non-living components of environment. It makes our environment dirty. The things which cause pollution is called Pollutants.

Land (soil) pollution: Land pollution is the pollution of the earth due to solid and liquid wastes produces by human activities. It often occurs is a result of human activities and misuse of land resources. The huge amount of garbage generated in cities is another source of pollution.
