The British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar has agreed a deal with their neighbour Spain where to avoid a hard border, they have agreed that Gibraltar will join the EU's Schengen zone and follow other EU rules, while remaining part of the UK.
Dr Alexandra Bulat, Young Europeans Co-Chair of The 3 Million, a group that advocates for rights for EU citizens in the United Kingdom spoke to Al Jazeera English on the day England, Scotland and Wales leave the EU transition scheme to discuss Gibraltar and issues for EU citizens in the UK.
