Today I will be giving a lice check to 8 students because there has been an outbreak in the class but don't worry my darlings everything will be ok and I will treat them for you.

Firstly I apply my gloves whilst I talk to the teacher about the lice outbreak and how many students I need to check for lice. I find that there are 8 students in total so I start straight away.

I check the students for lice with my rat tail comb, medical torch, tweezers and lice comb and I find that 2 of the students have lice so I inform their teacher to tell the parents and apply the lice treatment in mousse form on both children and give them a scalp massage to distribute it evenly. I then remove the dead lice with my lice comb. I finish by combing each child's hair and rewarding them with some sweets for being so brave. In between giving each child their lice treatment and removal, I change my plastic apron and gloves for hygiene purposes.
