This 30 minute video (recorded 2nd April 2020) explains what COVID-19 is and what its relevance is to cat owners. There is information on our current understanding of cats’ susceptibility to this infection, whether there may be any risks of a cat passing on COVID-19 to their carer and how to cope with some of the challenges associated with the current ‘lock down’ and potentially limited access to some veterinary clinical services. During April Sarah will host weekly Zoom meetings (what we are calling our ‘cat café’) to discuss COVID-19 and ‘lockdown’ challenges for cat owners.
