When making my video for Halloween, I was messing around with a lot of audio and video editing just for personal, future use. Earlier this year, I learned about a plugin in Audacity called the "Paulstretch." This is a tool that slows down an audio clip by extreme amounts without changing its pitch. The results are typically quite scary.
That being said, I thought it would be the perfect tool in making my Halloween video. So I uploaded an MP3 of the Sonata into Audacity and applied the Paulstretch. To my surprise, the resulting audio was actually quite beautiful. In fact, I'd argue it sounds like a piece for choir. So here's a video with the full audio of the paulstretched version of the sonata (the repeat is edited to sound distorted, so if it sounds weird at some point, that's why), along with its sonogram as the corresponding picture.
Shout out to gsarci for inspiring me to make this video with his own Halloween video that feature the piano replicating the human voice in its own way.
