I just got a Sensel Morph and I'm experimenting with a custom overlay for controlling the bowing of the SWAM Violin. The SWAM instruments are amazing when you figure out controllers that best emulate how you would play the real thing. Note that all the nuances you hear in this performance are done with gestures, not keyswitches. I realize the performance is pretty ragged but wanted to share the progress in trying to get a more realistic violin performance.
The MIDI guitar is the out-of-production You Rock MIDI guitar and the tablet in the foreground is the Sensel Morph ([ Ссылка ]) with an Innovator overlay. With the Innovator overlay you can add x, y, z (pressure) areas and assign them to MIDI values. In this case I have x mapped to control the bow position (bridge to fingerboard), y is bow motion, and z is bow pressure.
I'm also using a MIDI Expression pedal interface ( [ Ссылка ] ) for pitch bend and modulation control. Normally I use the whammy bar and mod controller on the guitar but can't access those while bowing.
