Check out these awesome tips on knee pain from one of our amazing referring physicians @stevemoramd
Hiking poles, aka trekking poles, are great tools for helping people with hip, knee and low back pain. They certainly saved me when I did the Peruvian Inca trail. I prefer to use one, but two poles help the most.
The take home message here is that whether you are using a single hiking pole, single crutch or single cane in most cases it works better when it is held on the OPPOSITE side of the #hippain or #kneepain pain. Example: Hold cane on the RIGHT hand if you have LEFT knee pain. It’s always better on the OPPOSITE side for #kneepainrelief #hippainrelief #backpainrelief
