In our quest to visit all 50 US states, we ventured to Minnesota - state 48! Everytime we asked people where we should go in Minnesota, they all came back with one answer: Duluth and the North Shore! The people had spoken and THEY WERE RIGHT!

We absolutely loved our time on the North Shore, hanging out on Lake Superior, visiting Gooseberry Falls State Park, Split Rock Lighthouse, AND the Black Sand Beach of Silver Bay!

No road trip would be complete without delicious food and we found it at one of the BEST restaurants of our US road trip adventures: Burger Paradox. The burger restaurant of our dreams!

Join us for the road trip back through Chicago (where I accidentally ordered double extra pepperoni on a pepperoni pizza) then onward to Minnesota, where we explore all of the things you NEED to do when visiting the gorgeous town of Duluth and the rest of the North Shore. This town on the shore of one of the Great Lakes is a MUST visit spot!
