SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Salt Lake City is putting on its first drone show this weekend for its Fourth of July celebrations, replacing fireworks.
It's the second year the city decided to do away with them. Last year, they put on a laser show at Jordan Park.
“After those events, this past July, we surveyed our residents and found that they are overwhelmingly supportive of finding nonfirework alternative events," Salt Lake City Events Manager Lynze Twede said.
