Learn how to make a super simple snack that tastes absolutely amazing and is quite high in protein - roasted chickpeas.
Use any of your favorite herbs or spices, I used smoked paprika.
Recipe and macros below:
Makes: 1 serving
Macros per serving:
Protein: 16 g
Carbs: 51 g
Fat: 18 g
Kcal: 423
Ingredients:
1 can of chickpeas
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
A pinch of salt
A splash of lemon juice
1/2 tsp tomato paste
Directions:
1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
2. Preheat an oven to 360F/180C.
3. Spread the chickpeas on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
4. Bake for 30 minutes, flip them around halfway through.
5. Mix all ingredients for the marinade in a big bowl.
6. Add the chickpeas and coat evenly.
7. Spread them again on the baking tray and bake for another 15-20 minutes, until they are nice and crunchy.
