This is the first in a series of videos I'm going to do about higher end scrubs. For awhile, I stopped wearing scrubs and have been wearing clothes from Bonobos/J Crew to work. I liked looking professional and I think I got a good response from patients and co-workers.
Recently though, with the explosion of premium scrubs using better fabrics and more flattering cuts, I decided to go back to scrubs and see if I liked them. If anything, I'd wear them for overnight shifts.
Since this is the first set I'm reviewing, I haven't come up with a scoring system yet, but here's what I'm thinking.
Price. At $100 these aren't cheap. I did easily find a 15% off coupon though so that helped. Shipping was free. From what I've seen $100 is around average to slightly above average for costs.
Fabric. I think I'm looking at feel, softness, stretch, breathability here. Maybe drape...? These feel really good. They are stretchy and comfortable. I could sleep in them.
Style. This will depend on the specific cut. Fit Scrubs tops are cut pretty snug and meant to let the stretch keep you comfortable. I like it. I try to stay pretty fit and trim and I think the style suites me. I got unsolicited compliments when I was wearing these which is always nice.
Other. There are other things these companies are bringing to the table. For Fit Scrubs, they tout their antimicrobial fabric with Silver and that the fabric is sourced from US mills. Cool.
So 1-10 for all of these...
