A suite of pieces inspired by the different Butterflies/Lepidoptera from around the world - the first movement - Balim Balim is named from the Wadawarrung coastal butterflies in South Eastern Australia, the second for the French Papillion, the third by the Japanese Chō Chō, the fourth from the Chinese Húdìe, the fifth the Indonesian kupa-kupa, the sixth the German Schmetterling(sommervogel), the seventh the Fula Palapala, the eighth the Italian Farfalla, the Nahautl Pāpālō and the finale the English Flutterby;)
