"Who the hell copes with their issues by fighting others over...something?" Chris questioned.

"Don't ask me. I was speculating," Palutena said. "Stop tying to make sense out of this nonsensical gathering of heroes, villains, me, dogs, cats, and man-eating plants."

"I'm kinda curious. What has Lucas gone through to be so introverted?" Pit asked.

"Well," Viridi began, "take Samus's backstory and multiply it by a bad tan while a clown is cracking jokes your way."

"W-whoa, dang! That's really harsh!"

"Can you believe that hasn't quite made Lucas a scornful loner looking for revenge?" Palutena said.

"Only because he actually had others looking out for him unlike Samus di- Wait, let's not make this about Samus," Chris corrected himself.

"Don't let his backstory ease your punches, Pit. Show him what's for!" Viridi cheered.

"But not now! Or maybe ever! My heart's been moved a bit too much to hurt him!" Pit said, looking worried.

"...He called you a chicken, and you know those can't fly."

"YOU'RE GOING DOWN, KID!" Pit proclaimed, frightening Lucas and making him run away from him. Yelling like a madman with blades raised, Pit chased after Lucas around the temple.

"How shocking of you to make those two fight each other," Chris dully told Viridi.

"That's what Lucas gets for imprisoning cows in corrals. That's no better than a cell in a prison," Viridi snickered.

"Oh, you and your strange comparisons," Palutena quipped, watching Pit swinging his head like a lunatic, scaring Lucas even more.
