The NOAA Sustainable Fisheries Division in Gloucester, Massachusetts, monitors over-fishing to keep our oceans healthy and sustainable. The New England Aquarium in Boston devotes efforts and expenditures towards oceanic protection as well. Visitors can catch a glimpse of the incredible creatures they are trying to protect, including Myrtle the Turtle, who’s around 90-years old.
