During our stay in Madrid, we took the opportunity to meet Alejandra Remón, author of the book “Cuando nadie mira” (When Nobody’s Looking). She invites us to her cozy apartment, showing from the first moment that we see her as she is, cheerful, enthusiastic and restless.
We started talking to her, and she explained to us what “an orchestra woman” means. She sees herself as someone who knows how to do lots of things, and stresses that they don’t necessarily need to be done well. In her case, she writes, takes photos, cooks, upholsters a sofa, paints a wall, creates a website layout… and an infinite number of other things, all of which lead Alejandra to consider herself an orchestra woman.
