I will update if I find a better option, just make sure your battery won't output more than 16v into the cable.
I didn't see a guide for setting up the Lidar off of the gimbal, I noticed a couple videos featuring unsuccessful attempts and wanted to point out that you need to make sure you are powering the accessories properly. They need 7-16 volts where USB typically is limited to around 5 volt output.
Gold mounts and v mounts would probably work best as a battery source. I was able to power this off of a 12 volt battery pack as well.
