Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of Restoration Talk. And today's question is, if I file a claim, do I have to wait for an adjuster to come out before you can call a restoration company?
No, you don't have to wait for the adjuster to come out. The field adjuster normally comes out two or three days after you filed that claim. But you, as the homeowner, have that option to make that decision. If it's water damage, you don't want it to sit there for too long. So most insurance companies will say you can make that authorization. But just keep in mind anything that is removed or moved, should the insurance company deny you, those become your job to pay for it. Hate to put it like that, but.
Yes, I mean really time is of the essence. Well, thank you so much, Tanya. This is another quick question from Restoration Talk from our viewers. Catch us on the next video.
