The Duke Cancer Institute Office for Cancer Research Training & Education Coordination (CRTEC) is led by Gerard Blobe, MD, PhD. In addition to directing training and education, Blobe is co-leader of the Solid Tumor Therapeutics program, serves on the MSTP Steering and Admissions committees, and directs the Lefkowitz Society, a Duke School of Medicine post-graduate program for physician-scientists. (CRTEC was formerly called the Office for Cancer Research Development (OCRCD))
