Dead hangs/hanging/passive hangs... whatever you want to call them - they are AWESOME! Great for grip strength, shoulder health/mobility, correction of posture and all you need is a bar, branch or something (safe!) to hang from 🏋️
Just a few minutes every day (all in one hit or accumulated in mini chunks over the course of the day) is all you need to reap all of the benefits this simple yet often forgotten exercise can bring 💪
I dislocated my shoulder when I was 11 years old so have always had mobility issues, and I also sit at a desk all day working on a computer. I started adding dead hangs to my daily routine several years ago and I can't recommend them to you enough. No matter what your age, sex, occupation or fitness level is - dead hangs are a MUST for everyone in my opinion.
