So over the last few months I have reviewed and tested all of the full frame L-Mount cine lenses from 7Artisans, and I genuinely think they're great for the money. However, the biggest issue is that there's no wide angle or standard wide lens in that set - they only have the 35mm T2.0 , 50mm T2.0 and 85mm T2.0, meaning there's a big gap on the wider end.
Well, recently they released the 12mm t2.9, and although it's an APS-C lens, the equivalent field of view is around 18mm, so is usable and very nice to have in this setup.
There's a few drawbacks to this lens, but it's so cheap that to be honest, those drawbacks don't matter too much.
I would still love for 7Artisans to come out with a 24mm T2.0 lens in their full frame lineup to compliment the rest of their L-Mount cine set, so we'll have to wait and see if that ever comes.
Thanks for watching!
