In this video I'm walking the streets of the Netherlands asking Dutch people what they love and hate about their country. It's filmed in Haarlem which is also called little Amsterdam because of its similarity and proximity.
The people in this video are speaking Dutch, but I've as always added English subtitles so that everyone who knows English can follow along, such as expats, people interested in traveling to the Netherlands and people learning Dutch.

Some people love the Netherlands because it's a very progressive country. It was the first country in the world to legalize same-sex marriage, and it has very liberal laws. Amsterdam, the capital city, is especially popular with tourists because of its lively nightlife and its many museums.
As for the the Dutch themselves, they're known for their tolerance and openness as well as their efficient and well-organized society. Despite being well-organized the Dutch also tend to be easy going and relaxed as well as helpful and friendly. The Dutch also love to cycle, go to the beach, and enjoy the many outdoor activities that the country has to offer.
Some possible reasons why someone might hate the Netherlands could include the country's high cost of living and its cold and rainy weather.
The Dutch culture can be seen as cold and uninviting by some. There is a focus on individualism and independence, which can make it difficult to form close relationships. The people are also known for being direct and honest, which can come across as rude or insensitive.
