You just need to find the landlord or his real estate rep. Problem solved. If you look for stores for sale on the interwebs, you will find them. You will find a bunch of peters standing in front of the address, so don't look there, look at the stores on the street, not the net. Decades of experience and hundreds of success stories has taught me one thing. Don’t buy a laundromat. These lease negotiations are like a ballet. Although, they can unfold like a knife fight as well. Be it Los Angeles California, or Bayonne New Jersey Danny is the expert in "taking the temperature" of the landlord, his management company, or hired gun. Knowing when to unleash the Kraken is a massive piece of being an excellent negotiator. When the individual on the other side of the table decides that they want to "tell you how it is"... That is the moment all can be lost. Some landlords are trying to take advantage of a perceived position of authority and begin a long road of heartache for YOU, the potential tenant. Do not allow this dog fight to get any further than that perception. Assert your authority immediately. You are NOT an expert in leases, nor should you be. You are an expert in your field, Laundromats. That is where the landlord is lacking. Believe it or not, he wants an expert to take over that failing business and flourish.
