The Speaker declared today that six Congress MLAs from Himachal Pradesh, who defected to vote for the BJP in the Rajya Sabha election, have been disqualified from the assembly. Yesterday, the BJP applauded and congratulated these six MLAs for their 'bravery' as they arrived at the assembly after spending the previous night in BJP-ruled Haryana. However, their attempt has proven unsuccessful.
