Hey, everybody welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the K-Source Universal Clip on Towing Mirrors here on our 2020 Toyota Tundra. Now this is gonna be an excellent way of getting you a lot more visibility on your sides of your vehicle, whether you're towing or just need a little extra room around that big truck of yours. So let's go ahead and start breaking it down. So guys here we are, just kind of simulating, you know what you're gonna be working with when you're on the road. Now with your trailer, definitely lose a lot of visibility. So when people are passing you, it is important to see exactly where they are.
Here we are in our factory towing mirror. And as you guys can see, I'm not gonna have the greatest time as I move over. But luckily our towing mirror is right there to pick me up, so if somebody comes to change lanes on you, we're not gonna lose them, not gonna be in our blind spot, and we can go ahead and make a safe maneuver. So you can see we have it here towards the end on our driver's side. Now of course a couple of great things about this guy on the end we have it in its horizontal position.
That's gonna be great for getting us those wide looks, making sure nobody's in our blind spot or getting those nice turn radiuses. One great thing you can do is actually get this guy in its vertical post here. Akin, that gives you a little bit more height, can be nice for backing into those garages or anywhere that you might need, gonna save you just a little bit room on the side too, if you need to get this guy pulled in anywhere, it can go the other way as well. And of course as you guys can see, as I'm moving this you're having a little bit of shifting down here at the bottom. Now that's gonna be happening with a lot of your universal fits as they're not gonna be a hundred percent to that fit on our factory mirrors.
But of course we can always tighten those down just a little bit and when we are going along the road, you're gonna see a little bit of shake here and that's gonna happen again with this universal. Then we're gonna have to look into this customs, if you're wanting to cut down on that shake. And this guy does a pretty good job of it itself of cutting it down. And of course on the back end here, you guys can see how it's actually attached. We can go ahead and tighten this just a little bit more if we need to, and that can really help take a lot of that play out.
So if we are trying to save a little space, we can go ahead and bring in our Tundra's factory mirror. To do so we can just bring it in. Now keep in mind we might have our window rolled up, so we might have just a little bit of contact here on our window. So let's keep in mind that we won't be bringing this in too fast for ourselves, and I think, in our vertical posting we actually do save a little bit of room there. I think we should be having a pretty nice fit. So as you guys can see, we could have a little bit of contact here just depending on how our oscillation is gonna go. So we should be conscious of that as we are setting our mirror. Now we should have a little bit of flex in this plastic as well. So I don't think we're gonna be too caught in a bind here. As you guys can see, we are getting pretty good rotation on our inner mirror. So here we are on our passenger side, just gonna show us how we can get it installed. Gonna be a pretty simple process as both these are pretty independent systems that are gonna be able to allow yourself to put them on either side. So what's great about this. We just line up our plastic tabs here on the front. I can go ahead and start adjusting our arms here so we can go ahead and make this fit nicely. So now that we have those plastic tabs in place, I'm gonna go ahead, take my rubber strip system, and I've already go ahead and preset this to the right distance, so it can just take a little bit of adjustment, which takes no time at all with this cam buckle system. And then we just simply wanna bring this down, and right into our plastic tab. Repeat the process for the other strip. And just adjust for assurance. Well guys, you saw that installation takes no time at all. And I really do like how much spread we are getting on those sides, can be great for seeing those people while we haul anything that we are hauling. One thing with universal as well, great that they can fit and they get on in no time at all. And we can put them on a host of different vehicles in the family. The one thing always though they are gonna have a little bit more shake, if you wanna go ahead and eliminate that, you are gonna have to go to that
