In this video, I demonstrate how to modify and fit aftermarket bone bridge pins into a guitar, which might not fit perfectly as purchased on Amazon: [ Ссылка ] (or wooden bridge pins) into smaller holes on your acoustic guitar.

The process of modifying the bridge pins is straightforward and requires only a few basic tools: a power drill and coarse (150 grit) sandpaper.

The drill needs to have a tip that can grip the head of the bone pin, and the coarse sandpaper is used to sand down the pin quickly to fit the guitar bridge. The pin is mounted on the drill and wrapped with a square piece of sandpaper. The drill is then activated to spin the pin, effectively sanding it down. *Do NOT over-tighten the drill's grip on the pin to avoid damage.

The process involves periodic checking of the pin fit in the guitar bridge. Once the pin fits snugly into the bridge hole, the sanding process is stopped.

Modifying all six pins took about 15-20 minutes, as each pin required multiple fitting checks to ensure a perfect fit.

After successfully fitting the pins, they can be installed on the guitar, replacing the original plastic ones.
