"Duckomenta" is a work by the Berlin-based interDuck team. For 30 years, its members have been drawing duck-like exhibits in a sarcastic mood, influenced by famous paintings. In the exhibition you can see gypsum in 150 works.
In 1982, Professor Dr. Eckard Bauer started with his students of the School of Fine Arts in Braunschweig exploring something special with playful means of art. The exhibits are not a work of digital processing, but are genuine paintings.
Since 1986, the exhibition has been housed in more than 70 museums in Europe and has gained 2.1 million visitors to date.
The exhibition will take you straight to another world. From ancient Egypt to ancient Greece, it will take you back to the Baroque and Rococo eras and bring you to our days, with incredible combination changes.
A humorous exhibition that will definitely catch the interest of children and will make adults have fun as well.
Follow in the footsteps of the ducks and ... the journey begins.
Do not forget to take souvenir photos at the photo stand which is available at the end of the exhibition.
