Synthwave, chillwave, darkwave, vaporwave, retrowave... I don't know what subgenre this exactly falls under! This is a remix of Counterfeit Mermaids from the game Shantae: Half-Genie Hero. The original song was composed by Jake Kaufman (aka Virt). I had a fun time making this track. In the past I've mostly stuck to songs with high BPMs, so making a more laidback tune like this one was a nice change of pace.
