A short video on how to remove a hardened nail-free glue from a plastic surface using a hot air gun.
Steps:
1. Set your hot air gun and switch on. We're using a Stanley STEL670 with temperature setting set to "I" (low temperature between 50°-450°C) and heat control knob turned halfway.
2. Aim the hot air gun towards the hardened glue making sure not to stay at one spot. Move around to avoid overheating and burning/melting the plastic.
3. Pry the semi-melted glue off the plastic surface. You should be able to peel off the semi-melted glue.
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 removing the glue bit by bit.
Note: You may not be able to cleanly remove all residue depending on the surface the glue was on.
