Coconut Milk Fish Curry | How to make Fish Curry with Coconut Milk | Fish Recipes
This Fish curry with Coconut Milk will never fail to astonish you with it’s stunning taste every single time. Fiery, spicy & packed with exotic flavors this fish curry is one of it’s kind. Mackerel Fish cooked with common spices & coconut milk, in a spicy fiery sauce that has a slight tang from tamarind. You can mop up this fish curry endless number of times with hot white rice. Taste best the next day !
Note : Can use any fish you like.
For best flavors cook it with extra virgin coconut oil.
Ingredients :
500 gms Mackerel Fish (can take any fish)
120 gms Grated Coconut (extract milk & keep aside)
1 lemon size ball Tamarind (soak in hot water for 15 minutes, squeeze well & keep aside)
Marination :
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
½ tsp Salt or as per taste
Other Ingredients :
3 tbsp Coconut Oil
1 tsp Mustard Seeds (rai)
½ tsp Fenugreek Seeds (methi seeds)
½ TSP Fennel Seeds ( saunf)
Few Curry Leaves
100 gms Shallots (sliced)
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
3 Green Chillies
60 gms Tomato (finely chopped)
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
2 tbsp Coriander Powder
250 ml Water ( or as per the consistency required)
¼ tsp Salt or as per taste
½ tsp Garam Masala Powder
Few Curry Leaves
Note : tsp is teaspoon
tbsp is tablespoon
