Charles Bakabulindi [Former State Minister for sports] makes an official tour of the Kampala Nakivubo Stadium construction works, after he commissioned its construction in 2017 six years ago. He now says the new look of Nakivubo Stadium vindicates his decision to support the redevelopment.

Current pictures from the site show that all the plastic chairs around the stands have been fixed and the playing area is all covered by concrete as well as other works on the VIP section.
It is now a matter of when and not if the Nakivubo stadium will be unveiled to the waiting and anxious public after the developer Hamis Kiggundu and the contractors intensified works on the upgrade.
