Walking the pennine way from garrigill to gregs's hut/cross fell.
I headed up the fell from garrigill setting off at 10:00am the sun was. Shining and the views where amazing.
I arrived at gregs's hut at 12:00pm and had some lunch then headed up the fell for some better views and to look for any wood I could find for the night I then headed back down to gregs's hut for the night and met 2 more fellow walkers that where planning to stay at greg's hut. We light the fire around 10:30pm witch wormed the room within 30minuets or so we played cards and told story's of the walks we
have all done the fire stayed in until the early morning but the room stayed worm until around 5:30am. When we all got up at around 6:00am and looked out of the window we could not see one peace of the beautiful views that we spent most of the past day admiring the fog had come in over night but that would not stop us heading back down the fell we all set off from greg's hut around 10:00am after cleaning the hut and having a nice brew and something to eat the walk back to garrigill was not as beautiful as I had though it was the day before due to the heavy fog but ones I started descending down the fell the fog started to cleare and the beautiful views come back ones again for the last few miles. I loved the walk the peace and the feeling of being on the wild and can't wait till I get the chance to go back to greg's hut again if you ever get the chance to stay the night at greg's hut the only peace of advice I would give you is to try and take some wood or Cole with you as there is nearly nothing to keep a fire going up there.
