In the third part of the walk north along Kowloon's major thoroughfare we start at Public Square Street, and head north to Soy Street, in Mong Kok. This is a stretch parallel to a walk on Shanghai Street too ([ Ссылка ]) but while Shanghai Street has a much more neighborhood feel, Nathan Road is a busy street and home to many more big chain stores (and a lot more traffic!).
The Mong Kok neighborhood is home to the most densely populated square kilometer on Earth. It counts 130,000 people per square kilometer -- to put that in perspective, Manhattan counts fewer than 30,000 people per square kilometer!
Videos delving deeper in to Mong Kok will be coming soon -- but for now here's the latest on Nathan Road.
