OzDox and WIFT present 'Women Behind the Scenes : How to get to 50%'
Screen NSW led the way with new initiatives to get more women into roles in government supported films, and Grainne Brunsdon was actively involved in that initiative. Deb Verhoeven has been outspoken on the topic. Samantha Lang has been involved in the pressure for change at Screen Australia which has recently announced new measures. Sophie Mathisen and WIFT have used direct action such as the 'sausage' protest at the AACTA Awards.
Will all this be enough? What more can be done?
