We have arrived! Freight brokers are now refusing to setup trucking companies. We're talking freight brokers like Choptank and CAT Global as well as other large freight brokerage companies refusing to even send out a carrier setup packet.
We've lost a ton of freight because of this and truckers are suffering because of it. CAT Global sent out an email saying that a motor carrier needs to have at least 4 semi trucks in order to get set up with them. Choptank won't even set you up no matter how many trucks you have.
The problem comes in when you as a trucking company realize that most of your packets have expired for one reason or another. Another problem is that way too many truckers don't know their RMIS credentials. We send out password resets and they don't even bother clicking on the link. Help your truck dispatchers book profitable loads. This is not the market to just hang out.
