Hello and welcome to my video about the stamina Dragonknight in the
Deadlands DLC pts week 4.
Today, I show you some pretty cool setup featuring the skill with the
desired group buff - Stonegiant.
I know, alot of people don't like using this skill, but it is still very valuable.
Even though Whip and Wrecking Blow would result in more DPS, I wanted to do smth with that skill.
Please keep in mind that a more flawless parse, and some better crit luck would result in more DPS, so I guess a better player could see 118k+ with that specific setup.
---- Gear ----
During the current PTS weeks, people tested alot of different stuff.
One of that being the Maelstrom 2h on your backbar, since stampede procs that effect on cooldown, and that set can now crit.
For that you put your old backbar set, Blackrose Dualwield, on your frontbar.
That leaves you with the nice opportunity to run nirn and charged trait and have 2 status proccing glyphs, while getting alot of weapon dmg from your berserker glyph on your back bar. Charged trait got buffed by a pretty huge amount, so you are proccing status effects like crazy (burning, poisoned, hemorraghe, sundered,..)
Interesting is also that we only use 1 5piece set with relequen.
The other sets are Maw of the Infernal, MA 2h/BRP DW, kilt and 2pc offensive pen, to be close to the pen cap on dummy parses.
Kjalnar should be more dmg than maw, but it kinda felt better on that stone giant setup, idk, maybe it's just a me issue.
---- Skills ----
In that scenario you don't use the very strong execute from your 2h line, cause you obviously can't play it on your main bar, and your stats on your backbar and not really worth spamming executioner.
Whirling Blades is a pretty bad execute, so it is better to just continue with your normal rotation and fit another skill on your bars instead.
We have Molten Whip on our backbar to get those nice seething fury stacks, which now last longer, so it's a nice passive weapon dmg gain.
Stampede and Carve are simply too strong, so you dont want to miss them (stampede is needed for MA 2h anyway).
Noxious Breath is a kinda weak skill, but decent enough since it provides a seething fury stack. Eruption is some kind of flex spot, but it's some nice long skill, which costs mag and helps in sustain (what I actually needed here) and still does good dmg per cast.
