Come join is as we take you on a tour of Edinburgh Castle, and watch the world famous One O'Clock Gun.
We had an amazing time walking around this beautiful historic castle, it stands on Castle Rock, which gives almost panoramic views over Edinburgh and its £27 a day car park 🤣
It was a Royal Castle between the 12th and 17th centuries, and then it became a Military barracks and was later opened to the public from 1830.
We were very lucky to get a good spot to watch the famous One O'Clock Gun.The One O'Clock Gun is a time signal, fired every day at precisely one p.m., except Sunday, Good Friday and Christmas Day.
The 'Time Gun' was established in 1861 as a time signal for ships in the harbour of Leith and the Firth of Forth.
