In this video we look at how we designed and built the paneling in the dining room. It is a Shaker or Wainscot type style consisting of a raised frame with a trim moulding, skirting and top rail.
A very cheap and effective design, this worked out at only £12 per metre plus paint and the skirting/base board. It would be even cheaper if not using moisture resistant MDF.
There are many ways of doing this, and much easier ways should you have straight stud walls rather than 100 year old stone to work with! However hopefully this will help anyone looking to do something similar.
Head over to the website to check out more info and photos as we upload them.
