If you're looking for historic Arkansas state parks to visit, then Village Creek State Park has got to be high on the list. Here you can visit the historic Trail of Tears and walk the same trail that so many Native Americans travelled close to 175 years ago. This park has several full hook-up sites and has a TON of amenities including great hiking trails, lakes for swimming and fishing, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, and even an entire equestrian camping section with beautiful trails for horseback riding. This is one of our absolute favorite Arkansas State Parks!
We are a fun travel family that go as many places and take as many road trips as we can even though we don't travel full time. We hope it inspires you to get out there and travel too!
