Acharya Prashant is an Indian author and Vedanta teacher. An alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad, and an ex-Civil Servant, he is the founder of PrashantAdvait Foundation - a non-profit organization working towards reconnecting the world with Advaita Vedanta. With more than 10,000 discourses and over 50 books, he can be known most appropriately through his work. His work is founded on compassion and expresses itself as demolition. In his talk, he spoke about ‘Astitva’ and the origins of Identity. He went on to expand on the topic by asking the question, whether Identity is a thing of your consciousness or is it a fragment of what surrounds you? He went on to answer these questions with his knowledge about Vedanta. He urged the audience to not follow the script that society presents us with and instead write our own story.
