At approximately 10:05 hours on June 15th, Whitehall Fire and Skenesborough EMS were dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire at Champlain Beef just south of the Village of Whitehall. Whitehall Fire Car 48 was first to arrive on scene, confirming a working commercial structure fire with live power wires on the structure. Numerous departments from Washington County NY and Rutland County VT were requested to the scene for manpower and water supply. Units were on scene throughout the day on June 15th, extinguishing the large blaze after a multiple hour firefight.
