Evoking the "D" of LDRS this morning (Large Dangerous Rocket Ships), the annual rocketry event hosted by Tripoli Central California this year. We had a perfect launch to 14K ft., won a Crayon Rocket drag race, and had a successful maiden flight of a new 3D-Printed fin can design for 4" airframes. But it was my son's Epic rocket with motors on each fin tip that made for the best video. It was our first land shark. (Best with audio on). My son's Epic rocket is glorious when fully lit:
