With cameras that have a screen that flips forward with an intend to do solo videography such as vlogging, you need to keep in mind that anything attached to the hotshoe will potentially block the screen. This accessory from Smallrig relocates a standard coldshoe mount to the side of the camera where the buttons and dials are. This allows you to most likely not block the screen with a microphone or other similar accessory.
