15:57 the important part


My thoughts on this map are extremely mixed. On one hand, this heist is so well made. On the other hand, it's so poorly made. Guess I'll clarify.

This map is so incredibly well optimized that I can run it on a high framerate with high graphics. Not only that, I can record it at 60 fps. That's one thing I feel people forget, I can play the game in better quality if I don't record. Once I start recording, the framerate drops, and if I try to record 60 fps, obs just crashes. So that aspect makes this map really fun to play. And yet, the end ruins it entirely. The boss is so shockingly unfun to fight, I have no idea what overkill was thinking. You'd better have brought zerk melee, or you'll be out of ammo. No headshot multiplier, no crit boost, and up to 81k health with 4 players. The hitbox is so broken that half your shots miss anyway. A prime example of 512 working outside of crime spree.

Speaking of his bad hitbox, I was originally going to do this with akimbo igors for the damage output. Then I kept running out of ammo, so I switched to akimbo cr805b to retain ammo and damage. Didn't work, still spent all of it. I died countless times on the boss -- actually, that's a lie, it was 6 times before I switched to akimbo mark 10 with 2 converts. And you can see how much ammo I still dumped for no reason. The most egregious attempt was when I discovered that the flamethrower *goes through walls*: [ Ссылка ]

But if you think the boss is the only broken hitbox, I have news for you. The potted plant hitboxes are obnoxious, you can't even stand up in like a 15 meter radius around them because they somehow block the uncrouch. Along the same line, the pillars in the basement are massive compared to how they actually look, meaning you can just shoot into enemies you clearly see and just have your bullets vanish. You can also interact with a bunch of stuff through walls, which I'm *confident* is intended. There's also whatever I had with the gold bag on escape...

I can't overstate how much the boss ruins this map. Imagine if they did something interesting instead of just a bulletsponge. What if you have to survive on the roof while he chases you until Bile arrives and shoots him with rockets? What if you need to lead him to a roof edge and push him down? What if you did *anything that wasn't just pouring your entire ammo stock into him*? Whatever, I dunno.

Music was the new Gustavo Coutinho song, Showdown Inferno. A lot of people are saying it's the best one, but I'd argue. Gold Rush and Dark Light Strike stand way above it, and Payback Roulette is also better imo. Not to say that Showdown Inferno is bad, it's just not as good as these bangers.
