Hi all
We had a viewer request for how to make whole chillie pickle because we previously shared the crushed chillie pickle and that has a hit with the spice lovers ([ Ссылка ])! It is a little different from the crushed chillie pickle but the best way to check which you prefer is to try both out!
Ingredients
250g fresh green chillies
Soak overnight in
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
2 bay leaves
Whole black pepper
Vinegar to submerge the chillies completely
For pickling
1/2 cup pickle masala
10 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 tsp pure chillie powder
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp fine salt (adjust to taste when picle has set)
2 cups oil - heated and then allowed to cool
Suggested recipe for pickle masala:
1 cup crushed red chillies
1/4 cup methi (fenugreek) seeds
1/4 cup dhania (coriander) seeds
1 tbs saunf (fennel) seeds
1/4 cup mustard seeds
1 tbs jeera (cumin) seeds
2 small cinnamon sticks, broken up (optional)
