Bad therapist signs! WATCH OUT for these red flags!

Here are my 5 signs you’re seeing a bad therapist. As a client, I’ve developed some strong opinions on what makes a bad therapist or bad counsellor. Bad therapy is no fun, but there are some key red flags in therapists you can watch out for.

These tips are good if you’ve just started therapy, are working with a new therapist, or have been with a therapist for a little while and feeling like something is off or you’re not getting the help you deserve.

Don’t get discouraged if you need to leave your therapist. You deserve to get the help you deserve from someone who will support you and your goals.
