This is the third video in my series dedicated to Wim Winters and his dubious "double beat" tempo cult. This "double beat" tempo heresy states that all metronome numbers given throughout musical history have been prescribed by infallible composers who transcend human nature by never making mistakes and being imbued with super powers that make it possible to determine perfect, infallible, and holy musical tempi. But this is not all. Since this number is always too fast, everyone in the 19th century (since the invention of the metronome) actually took half of this speed and used that as the perfect, infallible and holy God-given metronome number at which to play the music. This is (paraphrased) what Wim and his followers believe. In these 25 videos I will play Burgmüller's Op. 100 studies at Burgmüller's perfect, infallible, and holy metronome numbers and offer my thoughts and opinions.
