The Ainu language (aynu=itak in Ainu or アイヌ語 in Japanese) is indigenous to northern Japan, and is now most associated with Hokkaido. In this course, we will focus on the Saru dialect of the language, spoken in Nibutani.
Pronunciation audio has been borrowed from the ニューエクスプレス (New Express) Ainu language textbook, voiced by Kenji, Maki, and Maya Sekine.
