With the first phase of the loksabha elections already under way, the BJP had announced the party's manifesto. Some of the important aspects mentioned in the 52 page manifesto are
simplification of the tax process, 33 % reservation for women in the assembly and parliament, exploring the possibility of construction of Ram temple, formation of a committee under the leadership of the prime minister, consisting of chief ministers for better centre-state relationship, etc.
