In this video, we visit the Drumskinny Stone Circle.
Drumskinny stone circle can be found in Drumskinny, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. With the inclusion of an adjacent cairn and alignment, the stone circle is a State Care Historic Monument.
This stone circle dates back to the new stone age, 2250 B.C. The purpose of the circle, made up of 39 stones and a small round cairn, is unknown but possibly could have been used for religious practices, astronomical observations and calendar functions.
It's a really interesting spot for anyone looking for unusual things to do in Fermanagh when you visit Northern Ireland.
