You're watching the fourth episode (day 3, part 2) of my (road) trip along the Silk Road. In this series I travel from Xi'an to Urumqi and on the way I stop in several places that once were part of the ancient Silk Road.

Earlier in the day I drove by beautiful grasslands not too far from Zhangye city, in Gansu. If you haven't seen that episode yet, make sure to check it out. You can find the link below.
During the second half of the day we drive to the Zhangye Danxia Land form Geological Park, also known as the Rainbow Mountains. Here we film some more and I get to enjoy the gorgeous views over the mountains.
